We took the children to the Ventura County fair last Friday. Isaac's favorite part was taking a school bus to the fair. He also enjoyed seeing all the animals. His favorites were the baby pigs as well as the bunnies. I enjoyed looking at all the rabbits too. They brought me back to my childhood. I once had twenty rabbits at one time. My favorite rabbits were miniature lops named Thumper and Butterscotch. I also had some dutch and norwegian dwarfs too. I should have entered a few of my rabbits into the fair.. I know I would have taken a blue ribbon or two home. :)
Lillie enjoyed petting the sheep and feeling their wet noses.
Isaac also enjoyed his plane ride!
You've got to sample the food too! The Funnel Cake was a hit.
